Forced Air Cooled

FMT Series

Arc Welding Transformer - Forced Air Cooled

These series of air cooled manual arc welding transformers conforming to IS :1851 are specially designed to meet today’s demand at sites, and workshops as well. The optimally designed taper moving core system ensures superior dynamic characteristics resulting in a smooth and soft arc with minimum spatter. Compact, sturdy and really portable, these sets are manufactured with Class ‘H’ insulation for long trouble-free service life. These are extremely operator- friendly, and more so since both the current scale and the current control handle are located on the front panel. Because of the uniform current scale the operator can set the desired current precisely and easily. Due to the two large wheels at the rear, castor/stay at the front, the transformer can be steered to any position effortlessly

XLT Series

Arc Welding Transformer - Forced Air Cooled

XLT 400 and XLT 630 are manual arc welding transformers suitable for different supply voltages at 50 HZ or 60 HZ supply frequencies. Because of high OCV and specially designed moving shunt core system these sets have excellent welding properties required for quality welding. Since both current control handle and the uniform current scale are located on the front panel and the current can be adjusted from minimum to maximum within a step less single current range, the welder finds it convenient to set the desired current accurately, promptly and effortlessly. Because of high capacity XLT 630 is suitable also for Gouging application. XLT 400 and XLT 630 sets are provided with all internal fitments for an OCV Limiter to be plugged in readily. Use of OCV limiter reduces the no load loss to almost zero and ensures vital welder safety. These sets can be supplied with built-in Power Factor Correction Capacitor (optional) to reduce input current drawn from the mains permitting the use of a lowersize cable and switch-gear and thereby cuts down power cost and installation cost.
